The refurbishment of the Keith Green building within the Loughborough University campus to form a new home for the School of Architecture.

Project Challenges

Time – completing on time for the new teaching term and vacating the existing tenants from the building and finding them a new home was fundamental in maintaining the programme.

Quality – The space needed to be flexible, sustainable and adaptable and our involvement in selecting the right products, was fundamental in ensuring that the budget was met through effective value engineering we compromised on cost but not at the expense of quality.

Providing Added Value

  • On-boarding project team including fees and contracts
  • Implementation of a procurement and tender strategy to suit the delivery timescales
  • Internal accounting and cost tracking
  • Engaging and managing stakeholder expectations

Project Performance

We were able to manage the implementation of bespoke products within the scheme and ensured this did not impact on programme pressures and cost and at the same time, we delivered to the Clients requirements.

Client Response

We have worked with TCQ and the team on several projects now. They have always delivered on time, in budget, been accurate and are always a pleasure to work with.
